Computation offloading
The aim of the project is to explore and develop novel AI-enabled computation offloading mechanism to improve the reconfiguration capabilities of orchestration systems in the Edge-to-Cloud compute continuum.
Computation offloading
COLA
COLA provided a reference implementation of a generic and pluggable framework— called MiCADO— that supports the optimal and secure deployment and run-time orchestration of cloud applications.
COLA
ASCLEPIOS
ASCLEPIOS aimed to maximize and fortify the trust of users on cloud-based healthcare services by developing mechanisms for protecting both corporate and personal sensitive data.
ASCLEPIOS
CloudiFacturing
CloudiFacturing aimed to optimize production processes and producibility using Cloud/HPC-based modelling and simulation, leveraging online factory data and advanced data analytics.
CloudiFacturing
Computation offloading
Towards an intelligent and dynamic computation offloading methodology in the Cloud-to-Edge ecosystem
DIGITbrain
DIGITbrain offers easy access to Digital Twins to manufacturing companies who will, by their use, be able to rationalise the manufacturing process, make predictions regarding expected machine failures and maintenance needs.
DIGITbrain
From Chaos to Coordination
This project aims to investigate the feasibility of utilising the concepts of swarm intelligence for the development of a distributed self-organised orchestration system for Distributed Edge Infrastructure.
From Chaos to Coordination
Microservices
A utility to analyse the performance and behaviour of large-scale microservice systems in cloud environments.
Root cause localization
Towards a comparative analysis and evaluation framework for root cause localization in large-scale microservice systems
Serverless architecture
Comparative analysis and evaluation of Open-source serverless platforms
Swarmchestrate
A recently awarded Horizon Europe project (Grant Value - € 5,377,623 Grant value for ENU - € 414,984). This project will officially start from January 2024. This project aim to develop an application-Level Swarm-based orchestration system for the dynamic Cloud-to-Edge continuum.
